Hello,

a bit about me:

I am a newly licensed Registered Dietitian in the state of Ohio, passing the Commission on Dietetic Registration exam in October 2020. From August 2019 - 2020 I completed my dietetic internship through The Ohio State University's Human Nutrition Dietetic Internship. I worked part time during the internship, and continue to work at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center as a Clinical Research Assistant in The Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research's Stress & Health Lab. I graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Health, a major in Nutrition & Dietetics, and a minor in Italian.  I have grown up in Columbus, Ohio from a family passionate about food, which has fueled my interest in all things nutrition related, specifically how food affects the body. I enjoy cooking, especially when I learn how to make traditional Italian dishes from my grandmothers and mother, but I also take pleasure in experimenting on my own. Through my dietetic internship, undergraduate education, volunteer and work experience I have come to learn the importance of good nutrition in overall health. Because of this, I am ambitious to teach others the value of nutrition and will strive to accomplish this in my career.
