Angelina Caradonna

Located in New York City, the Nutrition Twins, Lyssie Lakatos and Tammy Lakatos Shames, are Registered Dietitians who are nutrition entrepreneurs. They have published books, appeared in the media, conducted nutrition counseling, and shared recipes and tips through their online blog. As a virtual intern I developed the recipes posted on their blog and shared via social media, catered to their audience of mostly women who are mothers looking to lose weight, focusing on recipes containing low calorie, fat, and sugar with higher protein, vitamins, and minerals. In creating these recipes I was responsible for following certain dietary guidelines, providing step by step cooking directions, calculating the vitamin and nutrient information, and photographing the end product. I also worked on developing menu plans for their upcoming book of incorporating whole, nutritious foods.
